Digital billboard and theater marquee promote the musical 'Wicked' against an urban background; the URL 'mirvish.com' and dates 'NOW THRU August 5' are visible. Lower corner watermark reads 'lostinahaste.com'.

You’re bound to see some magic at Wicked. ๐Ÿช„๐Ÿงน Though, some might call the songs a curse, as they get stuck in your head for days… ๐Ÿคฃ #mbapr

ย Roku says the attackers used the login information of account holders, a technique called credential stuffing, to gain access to the streaming service and the payment methods of some users.

Good lord, what is going on over @ Roku?! Is this why they forced everyone into arbitrationโ€ฆ?

Book one of the Aegis of Merlin, I rather enjoyed it.

Billowing clouds dominate the view against a dark, moody sky. The website 'lostinthehaste.com' overlays at the bottom.

I always enjoy the window seat when traveling, as commonplace as flying has become, the ability to soar into the sky amazes me. (I took this photo on a trip across the pond to Europe a few years ago, we were flying into the night.) โœˆ๏ธโ˜๏ธ๐ŸŒ— #mbapr

  • ๐Ÿ”— Starting today, ISPs must display labels with price, speeds, and data caps | Ars Technica

I commend these ISPs for accomplishing so difficult a task in the face of such adversity. The sheer impertinence of the government, expecting them to tell you what you get and how much it costs in advance of purchasing it.

Yea, sounds about rightโ€ฆafter all, ISPs are among the most hated companies in โ€˜Murica. ๐Ÿคฃ

A green metro train is stationary at an underground platform with passengers visible through windows, under a curved white ceiling with lights. The text 'lostinhaste.com' is overlaid at the bottom.

  • ๐Ÿ”— Apple now allows retro game emulators on its App Storeโ€”but with big caveats | Ars Technica

There actually are some security implications to emulation; a malicious ROM can potentially exploit a hosting emulator. Emulation code needs to run very fast, so safety measures like bounds checks often don’t exist. In terms of code safety, emulators are some of the worst programs you can run.

The ability to play my NES / SNES / N64 games on my iPad, to go back to Symphony of the Night or Breath of Fire 3, that would be lovely but given the risks I have to wonder if Apple will really allow it. ๐ŸŽฎ

Schleswig-Holstein looks to succeed where Munich failed.

This one randomly showed up as a suggested read on my Kindle and I decided to give it a shot. It was pretty one dimensional but highly entertaining…and it set the stage for an interesting series (if the author continues, of course).

A man generates a glowing blue light between his hands, seated in a cave-like setting with a lit torch and treasure chest. The text reads: 'UNEXPECTED HEALER - A FANTASY LitRPG ISEKAI ADVENTURE - EARTHEN CONTENDERS BOOK 1 - JONATHAN BROOKS'.
